Trinity Music School

The Trinity School of Music was instituted in 1997 as a registered institution under the act of promoting Art & Culture of Government of Pondicherry.

It was started with the sole aim of creating awareness among the western music lovers so as to bring about a cultural harmony and a special fervor towards music especially western music which is very much prevalent in this region where the French culture has taken deep roots.

The Trinity School of Music is the first Music School of its kind to start a centre for studies in European music and various aspects from the fundamental to the deeper aspects. The School being unique of its kind in this region has already attracted many music lovers to have a deep taste of western music particularly in Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Classical Guitar, Violin, Mandolin and Drums.

What makes the School more unique and innovative is its involvement and integration with the system and syllabus of the Trinity Guildhall College of Music, London. As such the School prepares students on different instruments for certificate and Diploma courses awarded by the Trinity College, London taking their exams at Pondicherry centre. Also the School conducts regular and intensive Certificate and Diploma courses awarded by the Trinity School of Music with local exam board.

The School has enough infrastructure facilities to admit and accommodate students on different instruments. Besides the academic activities the School is also preparing students for various concerts and public performances to bring about a cultural synthesis in this region.

The Trinity School of Music expects the active support of all man like-minded people to come forward to make this centre a reality in the interest of preserving meaningful music for the future generation.
